Data Cafe is an interactive installation that allows a person to transact a single piece of their personal data in exchange for a homemade cookie. By making this transaction explicit for the user we highlight the value of personal data and question how the human is considered in a data driven society.
Data Cafe was installed at Industry City as a part of Parsons Festival x Wanted Design during NYCxDesign week. In collaboration with Chris Fussner, Noah Emrich and Henry Lam/ VSOON.
