Sophia Callahan is from Hermosa Beach, California and now lives in Brooklyn, New York.

In the past, Sophia has written articles for Vice’s The Creators Projects, shot NYFW street style for the trend forecasting agency, WGSN, taken photos for the menswear blog, The Dandy Project, managed photoshoot production for Jeffrey Campbell, and designed an NYC art and design listings website for Squarespace.

In May 2015, Sophia completed her Bachelors degree with honors at Parsons School of Design in the Strategic Design and Management program. During her final year, she completed Data Cafe, an interactive installation that allows a person to transact a single piece of their personal data in exchange for a cookie. She also worked on Post-Snowden Aesthetics, a book that examines the ambient relationship between youth culture, security, internet privacy and contemporary art in data-filled world.

In the Summer months of 2015, Sophia did a design residency at 856 G Gallery in Cebu, Philippines with her research studio, VSOON, where they installed a tropical futures convenience store, SARI SUKI 2050.
